Nowadays, IFRA Assistance is one of the very few independent international assistances which puts itself into the service of travellers worldwide. Providing on-the-spot vehicle and medical assistance , legal protection, and claims adjusting services, IFRA Assitance is an organisation dedicated to providing an optimum service for its clients outside their home area or outside their field of expertise.

Our support services are closely matched to the requirements of our clients, enabling us to assist with the provision of new services to support new products. Full customer services can be provided at optimum cost enabling the support of particular products requiring own local telephone numbers, standard answering message, specialized reports and accounting.

The company was found in 1992 on the technical plateau of the International Flight Rescue Service Austria (IFRA). The main service area is the republic of Austria.

2001
In 2001 IFRA Assistance developed a new service package including individual and technical assistance.
2002
In 2002 one of the two owners, Mr. Helmut Brünner, suffered an unexpected death.
2006
In 2006 the remaining owner, Dr. Christian Steindl, bought the rest of the shares from Mrs. Gabi Brünner and started the revitalisation of the company.
2007
Renamed and legally transfered into a limited liability company company.
2008
Development of a new medical service package for airlines.
